Protoad Community Guidelines

Protoad has been designed to benefit you.

When an ad is submitted to protoad the goal is twofold. If you are submitting the ad, protoad gives you the opportunity to present yourself, your business or your ideas and opinions of the products you use in the form of an advertisement. If you are a company that has a great product or service then our aim is to increase the awareness of these products through the eyes and minds of the consumers that actually use them. In order to facilitate both these goals protoad only accepts advertisements that present the products and companies featured in the advertisements in a positive light. If you have something else to say there are other places to do so. This place is for those who wish to make a positive contribution to something great, to get their ideas out there and expand peoples awareness in a positive fashion.

• Enjoy the creative process. Who knows what you will come up with or find through the medium of advertising. Instead of fast forwarding the commercials why not star in one. Or instead of having the commercials for your new product ignored or fast forwarded why not have them watched intently by the family and friends of every poster to our site.
• Watch what others are doing. Let them know if you have an opinion on their submissions. Respectful commentary is a part of any great community experience. Protoad can be a great way to make new contacts and see what real people really like about the products and services they use every day. Help our users create better ads and maybe better products by rating ads and contributing your comments and responses to ads that feature products you use or value. We have a contest every month for the best ad posted that month which you are entered into automatically by posting an acceptable ad. That is, an ad that is of a positive nature!
• If you see an ad that you think should not be posted or that violates our Terms of Use, then click the "Flag" button under the video. This will alert the staff at protoad so we can review the submission.
• If an ad features your company or product you are welcome to contact us. One of our goals is to serve the wider business community in a positive fashion. We hope to be an asset to your business in any way we can.

We Do Enforce Our Guiding Principles

Protoad staff review flagged submissions constantly to determine whether or not they violate our Community Guidelines. If they do, we remove them. Protoad does not preview every submission OTHER THAN for the purpose of ensuring that the message is of a positive nature. Your submissions are your responsibility. Respect copyright! Only upload submissions that you have made or that you are permitted to use. This means don't upload content in your submissions that someone else owns . Read our Copyright Tips for more information. Don't upload submissions that violate our terms of use such as pornographic or otherwise offensive images or video. Users who violate these rules seriously or repeatedly can have their accounts terminated. If your account is terminated, you will not be permitted to create any further accounts.
